Registry

So when do you girls think it's ok to register? Some people that are not invited to the E-party are asking me if I have registered b/c they want to get me something. Should I just register for a few things?

i think its ok to register for just a few things, especially if there are things that you know you want

we are not having an eparty, but i registered because people at work were bothering me to do it because they wanted to buy us engagement gifts, i just put some basic stuff on it, because i don't really need much houseware stuff

People have been pestering us to register, but our wedding is so far away I feel bad about it. We're not having a traditional e-party. I'm having a bunch of my friends over for a BBQ on Saturday, but that's it.. I'm afraid I'll come across as greedy if I register with so much time left until the so I'm trying to lay low with this stuff... so far, it's not working.

LOL! I was just talking about this with my cousin!!!

Soooo many people have been asking me if I was registered and I didn't. Mainly b/c I dont want stuff sitting around my apartment for the next 18months. Its really a personal preference

I've been getting bugged to register too. I was gonna hold out until next year because I was worried that by time I got married, a lot of stuff would be discontinued. I was actually online with my friend the other night and we were looking around and found her wedding registry from 4 years ago. There was hardly anything that didn't exist anymore. Anything that was an older version was automatically updated. So, I've changed my mind. I'm going to do a small one just to get started.

Re: Registry

we had an engagement party, and people kept asking us where we were registered, so we went and started 2 registries (started with one, then were asked OH what about BBB and the coupons?!?!?)

we're not having an e-party so we'll register this time next year because it's also the time we'll be sending out our STD's with our wedding website on it. people can just check out our registries from the website.

we're going to register for just a few things, mainly stuff for our apartment (which we'll be looking for right after the e-party), if only because we dont want any more frames
