If yes...when did you start registering? If no...when do you plan on starting to register?

Re: Registry
Yes I started in September because of my E-party.
I am going to add to it since it is very small in April 1 year before the wedding.
Oh I am at Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond.

Re: Registry
That was my question! I was going to wait a while but then a bunch of people wanted to buy us engagement gifts. My Future mother in law really wanted to because all her friends. We ended up just going and registering. My fiance a chef so we had a blast. We just did it this week and our weddings in April 2011. I did a lot at bed bath and beyond. The lady there said anything that is in stores now they can def, still get by the time of shower and stuff. Go for it if you want!

Re: Registry
My dishes are at BBB and Macys. I got a call from Macys that they are no longer going to carry them so I called BB and B and they said they will still have them.
Alot of the things I am registered for are slowly becoming discontinued.
I am not doing anything electric until April because FMIL said that is when they put the new models out. I have to make her happy somehow LOL

Re: Registry
I registered at Macys and BBB just this past month, but we have not finished our lists. We decided to cancel our Macy's registry because BBB carries the same things for a lower cost and then they can use 20% off coupons as well and I liked the BBB website for managing our list better and the selection in stores is better. So we just have BBB. Our E-Party is at the end of Jan. so I hope to finalize our registry in the next couple of weeks. I say sooner is better than later and you wont realize how long it takes. I did a month of research beforehand to determine what we needed and wanted and do some online shopping/consumer reviews. Then in store it took us quite a few hours and we'll need to go back once or twice again for a lot more hours to finish!

Re: Registry
Can't help with this I don't think we are registering b/c we already live together and I really do not even want a shower
But I would make sure that you do it before your shower

Re: Registry
I registered like 2 weeks after we got engaged in Jan. MY friend said it would benefit to register early so people can just buy gifts for birthdays and xmas off the registry and she was right I already got my pots and pans for my birthday from my grandparents and for my engagement gift they bought my Keurig. For Xmas i told FH to tell FMIL i dont want clothes but something off the resitry.
I am only registered from BBB becasue really they have almost everything Macy's carries for less and you get the 20% coupoons.

Re: Registry
We registered at BBB and Macys. My registry at Macys is very small and has some higher end items that BBB doesnt carry. Im not really concerend with things becoming discontinued because i figure i would just replace it if it does. We did it early because 90% of our guests are from OOT and I didnt want them to have to spend so much money in 1 year for my wedding ( airfair, hotel and shower gift)

Re: Registry
I set up my registries at Crate & Barrel, Macy's and Williams-Sonoma. I put some things on there that I know are always basic things they have at the store. I am going to wait until we are closer to the time we definitely need to complete the registry to add on dinnerware, flatware, bedding, and some seasonal items.

Re: Registry
I haven't registered yet.
I plan on Bed Bath & Beyond.
I am deciding between Macys and William Sonoma
I guess I could always do all three!
I will probably register sometime early next year. It will probably be around April or May. That's a little before a year from the wedding.

Re: Registry
I want to register at Macy's at least bc I was reading that you get 10% back of everything that you purchase from the time you register til your wedding and this doesn't have to include things from your registry....its things like clothes, etc...anything that you put on your macy's card. So, its just an added incentive to SHOP!!!! I love deals and rewards, so I just think this is great, so I might sign up soon and start racking up the points even though I don't really need my registry for another year +, but like Kim said...ppl can get you gifts for the holidays/b-days from there. Also, updating things is easy on-line, so if something's discontinued, you can just take it off
