I'm getting married March 2014 and should probably go register. A few questions for for my fellow brides before I go-
-I know I def want to register at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Where should I go as another option. Most people do Macy's, but any thoughts on somewhere like Kohls or Target instead?
-Who did you take to register with you- fiancé or a mom/girlfriend??
Thanks for your help!

a 2013 bride had a bad experience with Khols. I did BBB and Macy's Macy's has a great rewards program, you get 5% of all purchases made on a gift card after the wedding.
FH went with me to register, he loves to cook so I needed his imput. I then went back with my BFF for things FH didn't care about sheets, vases, towels ect.

Re: Registry
I plan on registering at Bed Bath and Beyond, Macy's, and Crate and Barrel! I definitely think my fiance will be joining me. Even though he acts like he doesn't care about the wedding planning he has had a lot to say so far! He is already requesting square plates when I register lol.

I registered online and just asked FH for input. We did BBB (which was awesome) and Kohl's (would SO NOT recommend it).

Why is kohls so bad? I have some stuff on there, but now I'm thinking otherwise.

I loved the stuff I could put on my registry from Kohls (certain things for my dishes that BBB didn't have and the towels), but every time I tried to do something with my registry, it would either show things were purchased when they weren't, or things would mysteriously disappear off my registry. Even recently, I went to look at something (I've already had my shower, so I wasn't expecting things to be gone or anything lol) and the whole registry was a MESS! Like no pictures, incorrect information, etc. My mother went to Kohl's to purchase some things and the people there didn't have a clue how to do anything with a registry.

I registered at BBB. I went with FH and he picked out luggage, a cappuccino machine, and an ice cream maker...he didn't care so much about anything else so he just said 'it's nice' to everything I picked out. He wanted to come, but after about a half hour he definitely had a glazed look in his eyes.
ETA: At first he liked playing with the scanner and scanned anything ridiculous he could get his hands on......so if your FH is wielding the scanner, make sure you check your registry when you get home!

I registered at BBB and Macys. Don't register too early as some items are put on clearance or discontinued. I had to keep taking items off or replacing due to this. I took FH to scan items at the store like towels, bedding and luggage. Household items, I added online.

Im march also. I am registering slowly online for things I see I like at BBB. FH told me to bring his sister to store when I want to clean it up but if you want to do BBB start now why not :)
