Registry Advice Please and Thank You w/Poll

Registry Advice Please and Thank You w/Poll

FH and I finally decided on a china pattern that we love.
Unfortunately it is a holiday pattern.
Lucky for us, my shower invites will probably go out while they are still in stock or on the site.
(hopefully)

My question is...
We are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Fortunoff.
Our Fortunoff registry is mostly for our China, Crystal, and fancy kitchen stuff/things FH desperately wants lol.

Fortunoff doesn't carry the whole china pattern, and neither does Bed Bath and Beyond.

Would it be wrong/greedy/obnoxious of me to include the Pfaltzgraf registry I made( that only has the rest of our china pattern on it) on our website with the other two or told my MOHs /moms to include it with the shower info?

If it's obnoxious, don't feel bad telling me. I'm pretty sure it is. If that's the case my bday and christmas are coming up and when people ask what i want i can just point them in that direction or buy the stuff myself.

I'm sorry I know nothing about this. I guess I would ask someone close (mom, sis, best friend, aunt) for these pieces. Maybe let the other guests get the other stuff??????

definitly include it in your shower invites DEFINITLY it gives guests options to get you things...
but remember you may not get it all and if it is a holiday pattern maybe you may want to buy some stuff for yourself from it incase it goes away after the holidays and then you will not have those pieces....just saying an idea....

but include every registry you have made....

hopefully every guest will buy only off of the registrys and not decide on getting something that they like for you or they think you would like

i don't really care if they only buy off the registries to be honest. I actually had a hard time with the registries b/c of that. I feel like I'm being rude by having a registry at all, let alone 3! lol i know that's not the case, and i don't think it's rude when OTHER people have registries, i'm just weird i guess.

I am thinking that I might buy myself one of the 16 piece sets and the mugs so that I have part of the pattern. Apparently they are still adding pieces to it so i doubt it'll be discontinued before next season so maybe we'll get some for christmas NEXT year too... I don't know...

I am not putting registry cards in MY invites, but my MOH asked for them for the shower invites.
I'm not sure if Pfaltzgraff gives you registry cards

It helps your guests to have more options in items & registries....so don't feel bad about including it AND by including expensive China and some non-expensive items as well, you're giving your guests a wide range of gifts they can get you.........which is exactly what you want to do so you don't get stuck with socks =P

I think you should go for the 3rd registry. We have 3 (bbb, target and home depot) b/c we wanted to register for home depot gift cards since we plan on remodeling our house after the wedding. Just let whomever may be throwing your shower know where you are registered. If you have your hearts set on a pattern that they only carry there, register there.

thank you! i didn't know if people did 3 registries or not so it's good to hear from someone who does. I also like that you have a specialty registry(home depot) b/c that's what our Pfaltzgraff one would be.

It's not obnoxious. I'm thinking of doing an amazon registry for cookbooks!
