Have people been asking you if you want Christmas gifts from your registry? I have gotten this A LOT and I don't know what to say. Right now I don't have room in my mom's house to put the stuff (my mom is a clean freak and there can't be clutter anywhere). Just curious what others were doing?

Re: Registry for Christmas?
I've told a few people just to get off our registry. I thought it would be easier for them.
ETA: People who asked lol, I didn't just go around asking for gifts off my registry But like my Godmother asked what we each wanted for xmas and I didn't want to to sound greedy like 'I want a gift card and so does FH' so I just told her to get something for both of us off the registry.

I could probably start storing stuff at my aunts house, its huge, she has room, and I know she would let us. Thanks for the idea! Does anyone think 8 months is a long time to keep kitchen appliances and other house stuff stored? Or would it be okay?

considering im 2 weeks after you i say store it for as long as you can. this way when you move into a house or whatever you decide to do you will have all brand new stuff!

I would rather get things off my registry, because I don't really need clothes or many things. What I really need are necessities like plates, forks. I know I'm getting holiday dinnerware from pottery barn, so I'm thrilled!

See I would normally agree and say sure but my FH is a total groomzilla and says we cannot use ANYTHING from our registry until AFTER we are married so the stuff is just gonna sit there unused. But I think I will do what Jennifer (VeggieBride) said and just keep em' at my aunts house.
