Registry gift problem -- what should I do?

Registry gift problem -- what should I do?

The other day something came off our registry and I was jumping for joy... today the gift arrived... from Aunt Humera wishing us a lifetime of happiness with the tupperware we registered for....

Problem is... neither of us have any IDEA who Aunt Humera is!!! We think it's an error and she purchased off the wrong registry! FH has a very common last name so I can see how this could have happened... But I feel bad. What can I do? There is no return address!

The store usually takes the names and addresses from all of the people who have bought something/ Call them and say how you think there has been a mistake. Good Luck!

Did it come with an order form or a shipping form? Maybe you can take that to the store you registered and they might be able to track it.

that's funny...I suggest calling the store as well-they probably have the purchasers information in their comp. system. Good luck with that!

sorry, that is so funny...

if you don't know this person i would return the gift and have the store contact the person.

Yes... it did... unfortunately in our excitement, we shredded it to smithereens while opening the box! I was able to piece it back together only enough to determine conclusively that there was no return address.
