Ive been hearing complains about my registry (macys) because certain things are not available at the store and only online..also some items take 13 weeks to ship? Anybody else experiencing this? What should I do!!

Hi Ladies. I have had nothing but trouble with my Macy's registry. I have received gifts never with a card or anything. Then I have to call the store for them to look up who purchased the gift and there address. I was very displeased. I am very happy with Bed Bath and Beyond and Fortunoff. I moved all my stuff to those two stores.

I originally had everything on Fortunoffs...but then realized that most people like Bed bath and beyond...and they did...once i switched my stuff to BBandB it all went...people can use the coupon for their purchases as well. Plus, if you return, you get the option of cash or store credit. You can transfer all of your gifts online...also, most people only did my china from fortunoffs....they mostly picked from crate and barrel, which packages right there in awesome boxes that i love, and bb and b....good luck and enjoy!

I was at B, B&B yesterday and printed out my registry. there were a few items on there that were not available at that store. I hope that's not the case at every B,B&B! Some of those ietms we really want! (mini food chopper, china storage cases, etc)

I registered at Macys and no problems with them at all. I also had some things that were shipped and there were no problems either.

I originally had Macy's, but I wasn't happy with them, so I started a Fortunoff registry. Then, some other things happened with Macys that REALLY upset me and DH, so we moved everything over to Fortunoff.
If I could it again, I'd do Fortunoff AND Bed Bath and Beyond- because of those 20% coupons.
People know the amount of money they're going to spend when they go shopping for a shower gift, so the coupon are defintely helpful! And, a long shipping time will DEFINITELY impact their decision to purchase an item.

wow i wish i never signed up with Macys...but the shower invitations were sent already so how will guests know i moved my registry i had to change the items i wanted because they werent in stock..it sux but had to... the good side is everything is on sale!!
