Registry Help

FH wants an All-Clad brand pot. They are very expensive. Does anyone know anywhere to register, where they are not so expensive? I'm registered at Macys, but they are pretty expensive there.

I think they'll be about the same price anywhere. Register for them.......

You may or may not get them, but you have nothing to lose. Plus if no one buys them you can get a discount if you buy stuff off the registry yourself.

FH is the same way...I figure that even if we don't get them, we registered for them at macys. There are always coupons, they do go on sale. And also after your wedding is over, i think you get 5% of your registry purchases on a gift card, PLUS a percentage of what you spend on your macys card if you register it with them! So we plan on using that towards whatever we don't get. Hardly anything is off our registry yet, and we got our registry statement in the mail and have back over $300 on a gift card so far.

If you register at BB&B or Linens and things, people can use a 20% off coupon to buy it for you......

I think they are the same price all over. Definitely put them on your registry. People can pool together to get them. As long as you have a bunch of different price points on your registry, it is not rude or greedy to register for them. If you don't get them, then you can use the discount they give you after the wedding and get them yourself.

Hmm...All-Clad is pretty expensive but it is quality...generally with those products, the manufacturer has a set suggested retail. Just go for it, and people who think they are too expensive wont get them for you.

Crate and Barrel is worth a shot...but Macys does have coupons!
