registry help!

sorry if this has been asked before!

fh and i are going to register this weekend at BBB and macys. question is, how do we split it up? what do wei register for at each store? i was thinking the more formal items we would register for at macys (formal china or maybe even everyday dinnerware, vases, etc) but things like bedding and bath stuff i would register for at BBB......is that what ppl usually do? should i register for all the kitchen electrics at BBB too??

i didn't really have a plan lol. it's hard to see everything in store so i basically updated everything online and then seen what's cheaper where and split it up so i have enough items at each store!
