REGISTRY HELP!!

Okay well I want to register at two places because to be honest with you, I'm not really 'loving' anything at BBB, but I know its affordable.

How did you girls break up the registries? What do you put on one store and at the other. I'm such an organized person and this is driving me crazy!

honestly i registered at crate and barrel first. then, whatever i didn't find there i registered for at BBB. also stuff that was carried at both places I put on BBB b/c i know more people will go there to shop so i tried to make it easier for them.

Re: REGISTRY HELP!!

i really just registered for things i liked at each place-i didn't necessarily break it up..

macys did end up with all of the china though, bc they had the pattern i wanted

they also ended up with a lot of our pots/pans

however, i will say that so far a lot more people shop at bbb than macys or c and b

Re: REGISTRY HELP!!

I'm super-organized too and registering has been nuts! I am registered at Crate & barrel, Bloomies, BBB, and Williams-Sonoma. I have double-registered at some places - for example, I have my KItchenaid mixer at both Bloomingdale's nd BBB because at BBB anyone can use a 20% off coupon at ay time BUT sometimes Blomingdale's has sales and promotions where it could be EVEN less. So, I'm giving my guests the options. I'll monitor the registries once my invites go out, and will then change it accordingly. So, if I see the mixer is bought at BBB - I'll take it off Bloomies. Exhausting.

Re: REGISTRY HELP!!

I registered at Macy's first for my bedding and fine china... I looked for everyday dishes there but couldn't find anything I loved. So I went to C&B next and found the everyday dishes I wanted and put a few knick knack items on that registry as well... then I went to BBB fo everything else because honestly a toaster is a toaster no matter where you get it from and I know that people can use the coupon there... BBB also has all of my baking, pots and other every day use stuff. As far as towels I registered at Macy's and BBB (master and guest bath) and I split it up only because I found colors for each bathroom that I liked from the different stores.
