Re: registry help
Hmmmm I have intentions of registering at BBB and Macy's. I think that is easy for people and gives them an option to use their Macy's credit card!
Also, I will most likely register for fine china.
and also sex.

Re: registry help
We registered at BBB, Macys and Target. Macy's for our more expensive items.
China wise, we got lucky since FH proposed around the time Fortunoff went out of business and my mom and grandmother got all my china sets before we even set the date!

Hmmmmmmmmm I do feel like three registries is a lot, but if you really can't make it work with two, then that is how it has to be!!! Could you find fine china at one of the other two places that you love?

I'm registering on their site too...and coincidentally, when my family saw the pattern we picked, they all said it looked like the set my grandma had her whole married life.
3's totally normal. The etiquette books say no more than that, but everyone I know who's gotten married recently has had 4. I'm capping it at 3.

I wouldnt then. That gives you room for lots of other stuff bc china is expensive and you need a complete set. If you dont get it all you feel obligated to finish it yourself.
Pick some fun cool stuff too.
Im picking patio furniture. Is it ballsy? Yes! I also want a ps3 and a flat screen tv lol.

I'm doing BBB, Macy's and Amazon for the online shoppers....they also have a toolbar where you can add items for ANY website onto your amazon registry! It's so cool!

Re: registry help
So far I registered at two places. Jc penny and BBB. I also didn't register for china. I have a Correll set that I use now and Great g-mas china in a box in the basement. Ill probably put it in a hutch when I eventually have a house with a dining room. However if I do register for plates it'll probably be another set of Correll but a white or plain pattern that will match with anything.

Re: registry help
i only registered at BBB, but the crystal i registered for went on sale at macy's last month and my grandma went and bought it so i took it off my registry. just keep an eye out for things like that.
also, i registered for fine china b/c i know i'll use it (lots of entertaining to do!) and otherwise i know ill never see the point in spending the $ on it in the future. might as well get it now - if im strapped for cash in a few years, sell it on ebay or liw lol
