Registry Help

I've been living with my FH for about 3 years now and we have an apartment. We're not anywhere near house hunting yet and we don't have extra space in our apartment really. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to register for when you really don't need the typical things? Anyone else have this problem--what did you do

We had this problem, too!!! I love cooking so between my mom and FH's mom every Christmas/Birthday I've gotten every kitchen appliance I could ever dream off! We ended up registering for a lot of things we would never buy for ourselves and a lot of fun stuff like expensive board games or Xbox Live time (we're both huge gamers). It was a great chance to register for some fun stuff instead of the essentials!

I'm in the same situation! I'm going to use this opportunity to upgrade my worn out towels, cheap sheets and get a really nice blender and cookware :) I haven't looked into it yet, but am considering maybe doing a honeymoon registry to offset my lean store registry.

We live together but we registered for all the stuff we didnt want to buy for ourselves, like high thread count sheets LOL. I know that may sound terrible but all my friends did it and dont regret it. Unfortunatley alot will go into storage until we buy a house after the wedding. If you want/like it, put it on! Can't hurt!!

What about doing a honeymoon registry instead? Theres no point in collecting household things if you dont need them. I say register for some upgrades on things in your home that you could use newer/better of, and then do one of those honeymoon things.

We have been living together for about 2 years, so we don’t need a ton of things either. We registered for a few new appliances and some nicer kitchen and bathroom stuff. We’re also doing a honeymoon registry through Travelers Joy.

We just upgraded most of the stuff we already had. Better pots, bedding, towels, new everything. If you have a kitchenaid then register for all those attachments you wouldn't think to buy yourself. If you don't register for a lot, people will give you cash or gift cards and that's always good too.

I'm in the same boat but I would like all new stuff when we move. I'm storing our gifts in my parents attic till we get our house.

FH and I live together and we would like to get a house down the road. I had no idea what to register for either but my FSIL recommended for me to upgrade so I did :) Trust me when I say it was a lot of fun :)

we did fine china, waterford vases, picture frames, and things like that at macy's still, just because we knew some people prefer to buy the traditional gifts. Then, we did a honeymoon registry through sandals where people could purchase excursions for us to do... I've also seen people register at home depot if they already had a home- hope this helps!
