How did you get started adding items to your registry?
Did you start adding items to your registry online or did you go to the store first?
I thought I could get started online and then remove/add things after a visit to the store. Is it easy to make changes?
I created 2 registries but haven't added anything yet. Everyone keeps bothering me about not registering yet, so I have to get this done soon.

Actually, that's what I did... I started the registry and put everything from online - sometimes double of the same thing - and then went to the store and removed the items I didn't like and changed a couple of things. I found it MUCH easier than walking around a store for 4+ hours.

I am going to do it that way.
I am starting to get paranoid that I have so many things left to do for the wedding!
Atleast this way I can make some progress without wasting half a day at the store.

I didn't go to the stores at all. I did my entire registry online. I just found it a lot easier and I don't have the patience to walk around a store for hours, also I like being able to add and take things off the list at my convenience.

Fi and I also did our registries online. Much easier for us to to do it online, where we could concentrate instead of getting distracted at the store.

I started mine online.... but to tell you the truth when we went to the stores they explained a lot more and it was a lot more fun. It's always better when you can see stuff in person. And you feel like you are doing a fun wedding thing....it kinda gets you in the wedding mood!

FH and I started in the stores, but we've been adding stuff online as well. Some things I really wanted to see in person, like my bedding and luggage. But there are so many things you can just do online! Plus, I found it to be less overwhelming that way!

I registered all online never walked into a store. Then as time ticked on and i though I should really anaylze my registry I went to the stores and THINGS CHANGED!!!
My dishes were too cheap feeling where i felt they would crack if i just tapped them on the counter top, CHANGED THEM
My glassware was not carried in the stores just online (which they don't tell you this at BBB) so I had to change them to Macys. MY pots and pans were carried not in store at Macys so go switched to BBB.
Things that seemed so cool online were so retarded in my hand.
So i would start online but you really need to walk into that store and check what they have there in store (how many people you k now will order gifts online compaired to going to a store and picking them up there) I have tons of people who can't use a computer to save their lives so it didn't make sense to have things online only. Also see what your items look and feel like. It was a hard lesson and two days worth of work going to two stores to verify stock and availability and if i liked it.

i mean i started some online just to do it...with FH but we plan on going through it when it gets closer and adding more stuff.
