So how many of you registered for Luggage? And if so how many pieces did you get? Like 1 tall, 1 med, and 1 small or just the tall and the small. And do I get 2 Med (1 for him 1 for me?) and 1 small
I have no idea what to register for!

Edited: Is 29' for a an upright suitcase almost too big? Is 26' a good size?

I agree that the 29' is too big, especially with the new baggage rules most of the airlines have now. If you're concerned that the 26' may be too small, though, you could get some of those compression bags that you roll to get the air out. I've used them when traveling and they are great for freeing up space.

I havent registered for luggage - yet. But I am taking notes based upon everyone's input! I am totally in the dark when it comes to suitcases.
Bloomingdales has a great program for luggage (not sure if other places has this too). They offer 15% or 10% off your luggage 2 months prior to the wedding if no one purchases it for you off your registery. So if you feel bad about asking anyone to buy it, you can put it on your registry and pay for it yourself with a discount.

I ended up doing 1 26' and 1 21'. I know my FH and he NEVER packs a lot so he'll be fine with the 21'. And I have another 26' suitcase just in case he ends up needing it.
We travel enough that I would need/want to be registered for it. Worse comes to worse if no one gets it Ill get it myself after the shower =))

We registered for 4 pieces including a backpack. It was the best thing we registered for...I love my luggage.

I got:
2 of the 26' 1 of the 21' carry-on 1 hand-held carry-on bag
keep in mind for the 29' that most airlines charge for checked bags over a certain weight, and I'm always close to that weight with the 26'...nevermind the 29', I'd definitely go over with that...
