REGiSTRY MUST HAVES

I began my registry research. I am looking to reggister next month and am trying to figure out what the best pots, pans, blender, iron etc etc etc are so i make the best registry choices. Call me crazy, or a nerd but I want to make sure i make the best decisions...

PLEASE POST YOUR REGISTRY SELECTIONS OR WHAT YOU THINK IS A MUST HAVE BRAND OR ITEM.

TIA

Re: REGiSTRY MUST HAVES

I did a TON of research before I registered!
After doing my research on here and asking my parents and friends who have been married or lived together for awhile, I was finally able to register lol.

Is there any specific products you want to know about? Pots and Pans? Dishes, etc?

I love Farberware pots and pans. My mom has used them for years and so has my MIL. I use them practically every day and I love them!

Here is what I have heard in the past.....
Caphalon Professional series is the best. They have a great manufacturers warranty.
All- Clad- I also heard is great BUT I have had a few people tell me they had issues with their pots and tried to return/exchange them but the manufacturer wouldn't take them back.
Another company that has a great warranty is OXO. It is better then kitchen maid.
Thats all I know, I hope it helps you

i'd check Consumer Reports for reviews or Amazon. that's your best bet...it's all a matter of opinion on whats the best

The first thing on my registry will be the Kitchenaid mixer. I've wanted one since I was like 13.

The second thing is a kegerator. I don't know where one goes to purchase a kegerator, though. Hopefully one of my TPT friends knows!

Re: REGiSTRY MUST HAVES

for pots & pans FH loves Cuisinart. we have both chefs classic & stainless steel at home. they all like the same as the day we bought them. my FH cooks dinner every single night & he loves them. they are easy to wash & come out great in the dishwasher too.

our kitchen appliances (coffee maker, mixer, blender, food processor) are all Kitchen Aid. yes they are pricey but well worth it. remember you get what you pay for.

the other big thing that people don't realize its important to do research on are, knives.
we have two blocks at home (yes FH wanted 2 blocks of knives). one set is Wusthof & the other is J.A. Henckels. these are both very expensive sets of knives & very sharp. we have one 23 piece set & one 15 piece set. don't ask why FH needed so many knives because i have no idea. best bet is to register for a 15 piece set that comes with the wood block. if you don't get a wood block you may stab yourself if you have the knives in your draw. also on a side note, knives are suppose to always be hand washed, dried & returned to the block. (if i even place a knife on the dish drain FH has heart failure.)

ITA.

Also - a must have for me was a Cuisinart Food Processor. My mother has one and I love it! It is definitely one of the more used kitchen appliances in the house... jmo

LOVE my Kitchenaid mixer. FMIL bought it for me for Christmas.

FH's cousin bought us the Jack Lalane Juicer for our e-party. FH loves it!

Kegerator.......BBB has the Heineken Beertender. FBIL bought it for us for our e-party. It's AWESOME.

I also love my Calphalon pots and pans. We have a steamer on our registry as well.

We also have the complete OXO utensil set on our registry, as FH is obsessed with OXO products.

Re: REGiSTRY MUST HAVES

We're looking for a kegerator that holds a whole or half keg. I've seen the Heinekin ones but we don't drink Heinekin. I think Coors has one too; those are smaller than what we have in mind.

This is more along the lines of what we need. Yes, need. LOL. Good thing we don't want kids anytime soon! 'Mommy, what's that?' 'Oh, that's mommy's special fridge that she opens after your temper tantrums'

Re: REGiSTRY MUST HAVES

i must have an ice cream maker.

as far as the steamer for clothes.... my ghetto alternative is a hair blowdryer lmao. it works..

or just hand the garment in the shower..the steam will straighter it out, then finish it off with a blow dryer..

on second thought...maybe i shoudl register for one lolol
