Registry Poll

Just curious to know since I registered for our e-party.

I registered before my eparty only because some people dont like to give money. I already have a million frames that i have gotten, so i didnt want to end up with more. Otherwise i would have just registered for my shower

Its fine to do it either way. Its all your preference. I didnt register for my Eparty & we received all cash gifts. But if you feel like you dont want to end up with things you may not use then definitely register!

I registered for my E-party because FMIL kept bugging me! But I figured it was better anyway because at Christmas time instead of giving me gift cards my aunts will probably buy things off the registry.

ETA: Also, if I didnt then my FMIL would have picked things out on her own and we have very different taste and I would have felt bad returning anything.

I am not havinga E-party and I already registered, because my my and FMIL buys my a lot of the stuff I need. My mom buys me a gift every month-It really helps.

Just for bridal shower, we arent planning on having an EParty - but since we have mailed out the STD's - people went and picked things out off the registry and had them mailed to us with engagement cards

We registered for our eparty. As soon as we got engaged people were asking what we wanted as gifts so it was just easier to register early.

I didnt have an e-party but, when we got engaged people asked me where I was registered. So we went and did it and got o few things off of there as gifts.

I did not have an engagement party so I will only register for my bridal shower.... Assuming that I have one!

I read a page about edict and it says only the shower. It said something about being tacky if you reg. for e-party because it is telling the guests that they need to bring a gift. (although most do).
