Registry question

I am having a small problem I registered at Bed Bath & Beyond but they dont sell my everyday dishes in the store only on line. Linens & things has them in the store (and they are cheaper in LNT) Would it be wierd if I only register for my everyday dishes at linens & things and everything else at Bed Bath & Beyond? Thanks!

Re: Registry question

You could split it up and put most of your stuff at BB&B and the rest along with your china at L&T Best of both worlds!

Re: Registry question

I'd put some stuff on each...even some doubles, as long as you have someone going onto registries to update so you don't get two of somethings....my mom is doing that for us

Re: Registry question

That's what happened to us...so we are registered at Macy's ONLY because they carry our everyday china in the store

Re: Registry question

And that is really the only thing we are using Macy's for.

Re: Registry question

My dishes were only sold online at Fortunoff's. Someone bought them for us and sent them directly to my house.

Re: Registry question

we registered at like 4 places and spread out the registry among them all. China at FOrtunoff and BB&B, everyday and some other stuff at Pottery Barn, and various kitchen appliances/gadgets at William Sonoma

Re: Registry question

I don't think it would be weird at....the whole point of registering is to get what you want (hope that doesn't sound too snotty) and if you're dishes are available and cheaper at one store than just register for the one item!!

Re: Registry question

I split my stuff up between macy and fortunoff and they both had the same stuff that I wanted. Some items were more convenient to buy from certain stores.
