Registry question

How does everyone feel about registering furniture? We are moving in together for the first time and we really need furniture not just plates (other wise we're eating on the floor after paying for the wedding!) I've only seen furniture registered once or twice so I would love your opinions!

Thanks!

hmmm...never really seen much furniture on a registry before. i think a coffee table once, but that was it.

something like that--i'd drop major hints to your family....and let them know that you really need furniture, or at least some HELP in purchasing furniture. i'm not sure the rules on putting it on a registry...how would you do it? did the store tell you they have one?

You could register for furniture-you will probably get some gift cards towards it and maybe some family will chip in and get some pieces.

I would register for it-you need it so why not. There may be closer family that might decide to get you a big gift, or even a couple of people who decide to chip in and get you your furniture. Definitely do it

Why not?? Maybe some of your guests will pool their money and buy you something. Or maybe you can register for gift cards??

I say go for it! Even if no one pools in to get it, you will be able to buy it with your completion program!! (if the store has one).
