So, a lot of people have been asking me lately and I think I may have done this wrong :(
How and when do I tell people where we are registered? I always thought that it was the shower invite and the invitation but something is telling me that that was incorrect.

Re: Registry Question
It should goout in the shower invite, NEVER the invitation. Some people will ask because the either 1: Want to get you an engagement gift or 2: want to be the first ones to buy off the registry. You can tell them but still send it out in the shower invite.

Re: Registry Question
My cards were mailed with the shower invitation. I've never seen anyone send it in the wedding invitation.

Re: Registry Question
Mines were included in the shower invitation not the invitation itself.

Re: Registry Question
Shower invite. If people asked me where I was registered I woudl tell them. Most people asked our parents where we were registered.

Re: Registry Question
my mom added a little card to the shower invite to tell people where I was registered. It should not go in the wedding invite.

Re: Registry Question
The only place that registry info should be included is on the SHOWER invitation - nothing else.
They can also ask you or your BM's or mom, etc., where you're registered and they can let people know by word of mouth.

Re: Registry Question
Usually, I just look up a registry on weddingchannel.com. If you make a website on there, you can list your registries. I would just go ahead and do that. Most people will find it that way.
