Registry question..

how many registries does everyone plan on having? I wanted to do target, but after actually signing up for it, i think i have changed my mind and now i want kohls and BBB...FH wants Sears. . . is 3 a lil too much?

i think only 2. definitely BBB. and after being in the mall yesterday with FH, Macy's!!! we were walkign through macy's and a couple was registering.... it made me want to register soooo bad hahaha

i think that 2 is better...one practical one (we are doing target) and one fancy (maybe macys..i dunno yet)

We're doing BBB and possibly Macy's. We're also planning to register for funky plates in place of our china since we have a set from FH's great grandmother. So if we can't find any at those two places we might have another registry just for the plates. we're not exactly sure yet.

I don't think 3 is too much. It gives your guests options.

i think 3 is perfect! and no need to roll your eyes at sears.... i personally believe its fh's wedding as much as it is mine and they should be able to get lil gadgets that they want too!

Do not register yet. Check out the inventory before deciding on where you want to register. We are registered at 3 places. One of them, Sur La Table, is a specialty cooking store and the other two, Fortunoff's and Crate & Barrel have a wide selection. We are foodies, so of course we were most concerned with kitchen stuff. Now we have picked out almost everything. The only problem is that our bedding is not at any of our stores. So we will have to buy all our bedding elsewhere. If we would have waited a little while I would have done things differently. You should have a general idea of where you want based on where you shop, but just be careful when doing three that you are covering your bases. I completely recommend three to everyone because it leaves you and your guests more options. I also recommend Sears since your FH wants it. Registering should be fun for both of you.

Probably going to go with Bed Bath and Beyond and then either Macy's or Fortunoff. Be careful with registering at Target. I've heard horrible things about their registry program. I plan to wait until about 6-8 months before our wedding to register, too many things become discontinued.

FH wants to register at a place that sells tvs

We already signed up at BBB but haven't actually registered for anything yet... Maybe we'll do Crate & Barrell or Macy's. I haven't really looked to much beyond BBB because that's one of my favorite places to shop! And I don't even cook!

We are doing three BBB, Macys and I haven't decided on Fortunoff or Crate and Barrel. We have different wants and needs.

I was thinking of going with Fortunoff, Macys and maybe crate and barrel (depending on what I find at the other 2)
