Registry Question...

So as I'm going back thru my registry and taking things off that I dont want or bought another variation of, I'm noticing things that are gone from there that people didn't give me!!!!!!!!!

For instance, my le creuset and my hamper are gone and I never got them? Where in the hell?! Has this happened to anyone else?

I thought oh maybe people will give them as wedding gifts? But guess not?

It's showing up as fulfilled, or just not there period?

If it's not there period, maybe it was discontinued.

If it's showing up as fulfilled, maybe someone bought them for themselves while they were shopping for you and didn't realize it would come off your registry?

I have 3 unaccounted for things from my shower, a sheet set, a citrus juicer, and a can opener...never got them, and I kinda doubt someone is bringing a can opener to the wedding, so I'm guessing they just bought themselves a can opener

LOL they show up as fulfilled...i hope someone is enjoying my $200 pot then! Aholes!!!!!!! And my $80 hamper!!!!!!! (thats why i was confused its not like they're small things!)

that happened to me too....according to my registry i should have another shower curtain, a set of towels & a serving platter but I never got any of them...

oh my gosh that is crazy

my shower is saturday so i will see if any funky stuff like that happens - i hope not

Yesssssssssssssss!!!! And it was 4 sets of my facking fine china!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And after my shower my registry said that it was completed.
So I thought I lost 4 sets when we got home from the shower.. I never got them. So my awesome mom called macys and they were able to tell her who bought the sets. She told me and that person gave us something totally different... my baking pan set
So then I thought.... ok well I guess they are going to give it to us as a wedding gift.
Wedding came and went.... no china... the did give us $$ but no china.
I'm guessing macys was having a sale and it was like a buy one get one and she just kept it to complete her set? Its the only thing I can think of.

I'm pissed off though b/c now I dont have a full set and there were people who wanted to buy my china but got other things b/c my registry showed that it was bought.

it's so weird that you posted this today - I just had my shower, and I never got silverware that I saw someone bought for me; I was so confused!

That is SO EFFING ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is the MATTER with people? And why the hell would she buy your china? I don't remember your exact one but I thought you had picked something that wasn't very traditional...am I wrong?

Yes LOL! Both were actually fine china... who knew???!!! LMAOO!! But I was talking about my fine china I picked The Vera Wang Lace pattern so its pretty norm. My everyday china is funky

UGH, I think it's worse when you know who the culprits are! In my case, the missing sheet set and citrus juicer were from two of FMIL's church friends per Macy's...they supposedly bought us those in addition to a towel set and another sheet set, which we did receive. I thought it was a really generous amount from people who didn't know me, but I guess the wires got crossed with Macy's and maybe they didn't get them? Or we're going to get them at the wedding? Eep.

The can opener I only know who got for us because it was on the gift receipt for our everyday plates. Ooops. Yeah...4 settings from like 6 people (11names on the card though ). I ain't getting that can opener

I had this happen to me as well and thanks to Macys I know who the culpret is. I just think shes a jealous biatch who bought something high dollar so that someone else wouldnt buy it for me. Jokes on her bc someone actually did.

I know of a friend of a friend who knew her ex was getting married and went and bought their toasting flutes so no one else would buy them for them. Never had any intention of giving them to them. Very very strange people out there.

My shower was in June and I'm still waiting for a pitcher and sangria recipe book that someone bought...which would be really useful right now as the wedding gets closer!!

I like how Macys tells you who bought what...
