I am registering for an all white shower curtain and all white bath accessories (basket, toothbrush holder, lotion dispenser, soap dish, etc). I am also looking to register for a bathroom carpet, but does it also have to be white? I would prefer to get a non-white carpet because a white carpet will need to be constantly cleaned. Is the color of the carpet supposed to coordinate with the color of the shower curtain?? TIA!

I don't think you have to coordinate. I mean I wouldn't get hot pink or anything, something that goes with the overall scheme of the bathroom

It can coordinate....doesn't mean it has to be the same exact color though!!

I don't think you necessarily have to match exactly.
You can try coordinating a couple of colors. Maybe have your towels and shower curtain white, and then your soap dispenser and other items the same color as the floor mat.

Haha personally, I wouldn't want to be cleaning a white rug all the time either lol I really don't think they HAVE to match.

oh yea totally dont have to match - your bathroom you do what you want. but i love the idea of all white and then a great pop of color... even one w/ a cool pattern, that would look nice.
but keeping in mind what the color of the bathroom is of course

It doesn't have to match. I think a colored rug will help to break up the white of everything else, but just make sure it goes with the color of the actual bathroom

Pick another color to offset the white. So...like black and white, white and pink, white and cream etc.

well anything goes with white. definitely skip the white bath mat. you'll be tossing it after a while bc eventually it will be too dingy.
blue always looks good w white.

its up to you. you can have everything match or you can have everything flow with each other. like white accesories and earth tone mat
