Is it weird to register for electronics, like perhaps a tv?
Not sure if this is done or if its weird.
Any thoughts girls? TIA!

Re: registry question...
i've seen people register for best buy GC's b/c they want to buy an electronic of their choice. I guess it's up to you. it's your registry and it's there to help you guys start a new life and if you need a tv, then why not.

It is not weird, but, I wouldn't do it. I think those types of gifts are reserved for housewarmings or something like that... You do what is comfortable for you!

Re: registry question...
i say register for whatever you want! I registered for so much there's a lot I won't get but it gives people ideas of what you like and groups can buy you larger items!

Re: registry question...
i didn't register for a TV, but we did register for:
a snow blower a barbecue (like a real gas bbq) and a water cooler (like the kind you put the big 5 gallon poland spring bottles on)
register for whatever you want. if you don't get it, youdon't get it.
my friend registered for a $1200 couch and like 10 coworkers got together and bought it for her at her shower.

Re: registry question...
I have seen electric toothbrushes, men's electric razors and those dogs that you put in the car and their heads boob. All in all put what you want. I think a bbq or water cooler is more practical than a toy dog! Lol!

Re: registry question...
A registry is like a wish list. People don't have to buy something for you if they don't want to. That being said, I know someone who registered for an x-box 360 and I thought it was a little off.
