REGISTRY QUESTION
I am pretty sure those are things that are not carried online & can only be purchsed in the store. There are also things that will be on the registry that are only available online and not in store. Those you would know when the registry is printed out in the store. Hope that makes sense

REGISTRY QUESTION
Sometimes things aren't available at all anymore, and discontinued. Other times it's because they just are only available in store. You can call your local store and ask them.

REGISTRY QUESTION
I would call the store or use the chat feature that's available when you log in to your registry (also useful for when you receive gifts that givers did not have removed from the registry). I would worry more when you see things go on clearance, that's a sure sign they're about to be discontinued. I went a few weeks ago and purchased all of our placemats and napkins, cause they were marked as clearance online and I didn't feel like choosing other ones!

This! I had more the one item on mine go out of stock and was moved to the bottom of the page. A few weeks later they were back in stock and it was moved back into the regular spot on the list. I also had something go on clearance and get discontinued so that is definitely more of something to worry about.

Re: REGISTRY QUESTION
You're registering too soon if your bridal shower won't be until next year, a lot of things will be discontinued or seasonal.

I actually registered a year before my wedding because family and friends asked about it for gifts for my engagement party. I only had maybe 2 things get discontinued at BB&B, and I have a pretty large registry. So if that's where the registry is it really isn't a problem to register this early. They don't necessarily update all of their items every season. Other stores might not be the same thing though.
