So my mom and I got into a little fight yesterday because it seems that FH and I registered for really expensive every day dishes as well as regular 'china' dishes.
After taking a second look - realized that my every day dishes are pretty expensive ($35 each) and should probably decide between either the china or the expensive dishes...
Anyone have any thoughts on cheap every day dishes OR Can you guys post the everyday dishes that you registered for....
I want to register for things that people will buy us....

Where are you registered? I registered for two sets of 4 everyday place settings from BBB. $99.00 each. Someone already got them for me!
Check out Villeroy & Boch - fortunoff, macys, etc.

I actually registered for a higher end everday china that I could use as fine china too and registered for the matching serving trays, gravy boat and all that good stuff. Then I registered for really cheap plates and bowls (6 each) that I don't care if I wreck them just so I have for days I don't want use the really nice everyday china.

I inherited my grandmothers china so I didn't register for any of that.
My everyday dishes are by Fiestaware. I got them at Macy's. Their about 43 bucks for a 4 piece place setting. And I registered for all the colors. HTH

We registered for two sets of 4 place settings each for our everyday dinnerware. Each set is $50, so that's $100 for all 8 place settings
We also registered for nicer dinnerware - not china - and put down 8 sets of 1 place setting each. Each place setting is $49 (so for all 8 settings, it's $400)
That way we'd have everyday dinnerware that we can just eat with everyday and nicer ones if we have company or a family/holiday dinner.
