I was wondering if anyone could please help... With out really going into too much detail, does anyone know if ANY department stores, (anyplace from Kohl's, to JC Penny, to Bloomingdales) not really picky, that allow you to return and get money for items on your registry that you got as gifts but may not really want/need/have the space for... etc.

People told me that BBB did this, but we went to the store and this was not true (not that we wanted to return anything for $$ we were just curious) . Its a rumor and its BBB policy not to return items for $$ .... However the location in Westbury was doing it for sometime and another location told us they were not supposed to be doing it.

I guess it depends on the store you go to. The store in Westbury and the store in Lake Success both give the cash back if it is on your registry. I have returned stuff to both places in the past month and got $$ back.

The BBB in Rego Park, Queens gave me cash back, too. They gave me a bit of a hard time and I told them that I was told when I registered we would get cash back which was true. They asked where I registered and it was at that specific location so they gave it to me.
