registrys and sales

the bedding we picked out at Macy's is pretty pricey, but it on sale like every other week.

now it's 75% off!!!

i really don't want anyone to have to pay full price, but I have no idea how to let people know that it goes on sale so often, with a BIG discount.

is it a given that Macy's items are frequently on sale??

what would you guys do?

buy it for yourself and take it off the registry!!

Same here lol or I would tell my family that I really want it, and its on sale. OR I would grab it myself hah and take it off the registry.

I saw a beautiful Damask type design on bedding at JCPEnneys and I loved it, but it was too much. If I found out it was 75% off, I would have it already haha

I am in exactly the same position. My bedding is more than half price plus those additional macys discounts. I so want to buy it, but I can't spend anymore money. I forwarded a link to my mom and sister and told them it's super cheap and someone should buy it. Hopefully they listen.

I'd spread the word that it's on sale, & drop hints My FH & I found a bedding set finally also & it's on sale @ Macys... Since my bridal shower is SO far away, I'm dropping hints for XMas; if it isn't off the registry in a few weeks, I'm just going to go and buy it since it's SO cheap.

when we registred with them they asked if we wanted sales emails and if we wanted to have someone else like a MIL or MOTB to get them too.

they do tend to have a lot of sales but it's the holidays so the best sales may be now.

my luggage every other week is on sale off sale on sale

this happened to us - we had our shower the next week our bedding was on clearance and 75% off - luckily I hadn't used it yet so I returned it repurchased it and purchased more items off the registry.

I would tell your mom this way she can spread the word.
