Registry/Shower - Anyone else notice this?

Registry/Shower - Anyone else notice this?

Ok, so I found out that my shower is this Saturday - of course I'm still going to act surprise because nobody knows that I found out except th person that let it slip.

Anyways, I've been checking my registries nonstop just cause I can't help it - and there's only like a handful of stuff bought off of it! At Macy's - a few of the more expensive items (like 6-7) are bought, but at BBB there's not much at all......... And I know there were like 45 people invited because I gave my mom the list.

With only 2 days until the shower, does anyone else find this odd?

Unless a lot of people are getting creative and not getting stuff I'm registered for......still, I found it weird.

DO not find it weird at all - Sometime people just wait until the last minute to make any purchases -

I wouldn't worry about it. Some people forget to mention that they're buying something off of a registry so the cashier doesn't take it off in their system.

I found with my registery that it didn't automatically update daily....one day I checked and there wasn't a lot bought...than I went back on a couple of days later and almost everything was purchased...could be the system they use for registeries...I heard all retailers use the same system.....

I didn't even consider this - it's a good possibility!

some people shop right before AND some people forget to get the item taken off the registry, You would be surprised how many gifts I got that were never taken off the registry. Maybe you will get a lot of gift cards too! Have fun!

I work at BBB and this happens alot. Things could have been bought but whoever bought them didnt tell the cashier it was a registry gift. We have to scan the registry at the register so it comes off the list. If we dont get the registry we cant take it off unless the person comes back and tells us. Also sometimes the cashiers forget to ask for it! I am sure youll get a bunch of great stuff!!

Same here - it's a terrible habit of mine! Don't worry about it, you'll get tons of gifts.
