Regular Poster With Some Questionaires!!

For those of you who can remember when you were first preggo and those new to being preggo

1) if you were on ortho tricyclen and stopped did you get brown spots on your face when preggo or did you get them even when you were not? Do you remember. I recall my Dr. telling me I may get some but she did not specify whether you get them when you stop the pill or when you actually conceive.

2) in early pregnancy did you have a lot of back pain? In the middle of your back in the center? Like there is a brick there?

Sorry for the anonymous name but I literally am just curious and hope I am preggo but not officially trying seriously to date.

I got those brown spots. But not just when I got pregnant...lower back pain didn't start until a couple of months

i got them on my face a few years ago. but did notice more when i got pregnant. there were a few pigment changes actually. how far 'might' you be?

I am actually not late yet--- due early next week
just been feeling weird and noticed the face spots and middle of back pain

hm...well definitely something to consider! - pigment changes are very common...let me know if I can help any further!

are you tired? that is really the first thing I remember noticing. that and a breakout around my chin. that was EARLY on - I had NO idea at that time...but remember because I never used to break out. Now I am like a teenager, but my skin pre-pregnancy was flawless. I was so proud of that!

I am tired often but I cannot go by that one only because I always tend to be tired! even if I have my period, etc.
so, I know that cannot be a telltale sign for me

me too - that is why I didn't figure it out on my own! May be jumping the gun, but it couldnt' hurt to do the test...if it's negative, do it again if you miss your period, but a positive would be a positive. Good luck!

question, why would your preggo symptoms be any different than another preggo person?? Wouldn't you just have normal symptoms??? I am confused please explain. Does this bc causes you to have different symptoms???

shamma, the pill does have the side effect of pigment changes - particularly on the face. usually like a little area (mine is at my temple) of very light brown spotting. Clearly most obvious on fair skin - and I think maybe more severe as well. But since this is also something that might happen during pregnancy, I think justcurious was trying to figure hers out!

have any of you experienced middle back like a brick pain and a few spots a few months off of ortho-tri? did you have it even if you were not preggo or notice more when you found you that you actually were indeed pregnant?
