Rehearsal.....

Rehearsal.....

Do you guys think it is necessary to have rehearsal dinner if we are getting married at the reception place? The only thing i can think of is a very informal bbq at my house for our immediate family and bridal party. We only have 3 bridesmaids, 3 ushers and 1 flower girl and 1 ring bearer. i guess its a good time to give them our gifts and really get to relax. The thing is our groomsmen are all from out of state, and might not come in until the night before the wedding...when i dont want to do anything! I can't make them come in on a friday, then stay in a hotel fri, sat (doing nothing) and sun (after the wedding)
The day before the wedding, what are you all doing? How about a rehearsal lunch or brunch the day before? sorry its so long.......time to go to bed.

A BBQ is a nice idea, you can do whatever you want there are no rules

Re: Rehearsal.....

Its kinda funny but all the rehearsal dinners i ever went to, never had a rehearsal attached to it... im getting married at the hall also and still want to have one... i feel like it is a time for the close family to get together and just have a fun, relaxing dinner, enjoying everyone's company the night before... because the wedding day is going to be super hectic... i think a lunch or BBQ is a great idea as well...

We're having a 'night before dinner' for all our close friends and family who have traveled in from out of town. It's going to be casual and informal, just a way to spend some time with people who have traveled in from out of town.

We are having a celebratory dinner - hopefully something low key at FILs, but no rehersal.
