Rehearsal?

Rehearsal?

Just curious if there's usually a rehearsal before the wedding. We're getting married at crest hollow this sunday and we are having our rehearsal lunch saturday afternoon. Crest Hollow hasn't mentioned anything about a rehearsal (our ceremony is there also) and my family and friends are asking about the time and place of rehearsal.

Is it usually the case that there is no rehearsal except if you're at a church? I don't know the first thing about instructing my bridal party or our parents about what to do and when to do it. I don't know the first thing about orchestrating my wedding. Shouldn't crest hollow be doing this? TIA

Re: Rehearsal?

Some places will have you do a rehearsal sometime during the week prior (like on a weekday evening) and some places will do a quick rehearsal 30 mins. before the wedding. Some people don't do rehearsals at all, while others do a quick run-down at the RD (but not at the RH, just telling people what order they will be in, who their partner is, what to expect, etc.). I guess it really depends on what fits into your schedule and whether the people in your bridal party have been in weddings before and know what to expect. If you would feel more comfortable having the rehearsal, then my opinion would be to do one and call your RH and work something out w/ them.
