Rehearsal Dinner...

I never realized that for our rehearsal dinner, we're going to have between 30-40 people??? I never thought it would be that much! Where do you guys suggest we have the dinner? I don't want to do a BBQ, because since it's Labor Day weekend, we're having a BBQ the day after the wedding so we can spend time with family since we live out of state. I really wanted a good Italian restaurant, but I don't know of any. Since I live in the South, I don't get to have good Italian! I also thought that we'd have a variety of food for the whole weekend. Italian on Friday night, wedding food for Sat., and a BBQ on Sunday, and then we're off for our honeymoon. I don't know... what do you think?

Our wedding is in Suffolk County. We wouldn't mind driving to Nassau, just not towards the city.

We are having Italian for the rehersal dinner too. Same number of people as you too. I don't know where you live but ours is at Seventh street cafe in Garden City. Have eaten there many times and it's always great. My future sister in law works there part time. In Merrick try Nick Deangelo on sunrise hwy. I have never eaten there but my MOH had her rehersal there and you can't go wrong with a rest. that is owned by the George Martin people. If you are out east try Gemelli Rest. on main st in Bablyon village they always have good food. I hope these suggestion help.

yes they have a seperate area. It's downstairs so keep that in mind if you have anyone that can't do them. I don't have price a range because my future in laws are paying and setting it up. I'm sure the rest. can tell you over the phone.

You can also try Papa Joe's in Deer Park - they have several rooms and they are pretty reasonable.

Yes!!!!! My FI and I have been going there for 3 years now!!! You wont be dissapointed.

They have 2 rooms and im sure that if you spoke to them you could have one whole room to yourselves. They are located on Broadway, south of the Southern State parkway. Good Luck Lisa PS...the food is excellent there!!

try your local pizzeria's, many of them have a small room in the back of the place that you can use, what town are you in? Is anyone's house available? You could just order pizza and go pick it up, make a salad, have some wine, very inexpensive!
