Rehearsal Dinner

So, about 4 months ago...my in laws booked our rehearsal dinner at Anna Maria's in Smithtown...and put a deposit down...and today THEY CLOSED DOWN!! They didn't notify anyone...just closed their doors! Took money and everything!!! And my FH just bought my parents a gift certificate there for everything they do for us...we really don't have extra money to spend and now they can't even use it!!! I'm sooooo mad! But, at least we have time and the rehearsal isn't this week!!

My mom does...she called her and her reply was 'we have no money to give back'

A girl on the '07 board posted about Anna Marias and in the end, ended up booking Garden Grill. Good luck getting your money back!

Is that the restaurant on Smithtown Blvd? If so FH will be sooo upset! He loves that place.

Hey, we're getting married the same day! That is so wrong, I hope you find some way to contact them to at least get your deposit back. And like you said, at least you have some time now to book a new place.
