my rh doesn't always do them, but I was told that if I want to I can arrange to have a rehearsal. If I dont have an offical rehearsal do I still call it a rehearsal dinner??? Im just thinking ahead for wording of invites...

Re: rehearsal dinner
lol, i dunno yes, unless there is an event there that night, cuz then it would intrude on the one event at a time appeal of my RH. Id hate to invade on any of another couples space. At the same time I cant imagine that there would be a wedding there on a thrusday night in january... but we will see

Re: rehearsal dinner
Personally I would feel a bit nervous not having a rehearsal....I would see if they can have a quick run through and then have a dinner somewhere else....

Re: rehearsal dinner
we are having it at a small restaurant.... I really don't know the rules of a rehearsal dinner. Is it to go over where everyone will be standing? I thought it was another party! lol

Re: rehearsal dinner
We are getting married at the RH also and I'm pretty sure we don't get to do a rehearsal, except for right before the ceremony. We still plan on doing a rehearsal dinner, this way we can give the BP and parents their gifts

yeah alot of rh's don't do them until right before. I understand if your getting maried at a church you totoally need a rehersal..but in an rh there isn't much to it. I will have it if there is no event there that night, if so I won't sweat it...We will have dinner though to give out the gifts and thank the BP...

Re: rehearsal dinner
That's why I'm hiring a DOC. She will handle the rehearsal too!! I don't know if the Watermill offers a rehearsal. I think as long as FH and I meet with the officant and she goes over everything with us, we'll be fine. There are so many people at the RH pointing you in the right direction on your WD, that I wouldn't sweat it...wow I can't believe I said that, I'm such a control freak. Someone save this and show it to me in about 355 days.
