Rehearsal Dinner

How much is everyone paying for their rehearsal dinner? ballpark figure? PP figure? We were thinking of having it catered at our house, but the RD is the night before, and I think it might be easier to have it out, and not have the cleaup...Where are you guys having your RD and how much about should it cost?

I think its $35 per person, assuming FMIL is going with the cheapest package. Snapper Inn.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner

Thank you for this thread! I have been wondering rough prices too. I am really starting to think after seeing this that we will not be able to afford a RD. FH's parents arent paying for this... His father is helping with the RH so I dont want to ask and his mom just cant I guess.... I am not sure what to do... since there are a lot of OOT guest. Might just be pizza and beer for us squished in my moms house

ok, new idea, have it catered at home and hire a waitess for the night, I just don't think I will be able to afford RD out.

ours is $31.95 pp, and then FIL's are running a bar tab. We are lucky enough that they are hosting it for us! Cooperidge Inn

There are definitely cheaper places! I found a few that were like $17-18 pp , bc I felt bad they were paying, but FH is the first son to get married so they really wanted to have a nice RD for us.

I am way out on the North Fork so I don't really know of places up island , but I'm sure you'll find something!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner

We were thinking of saving $$$ and having it at home but it's too much work for just before the wedding and if it rains we couldn't fit everyone in the house comfortably so we ended up having it elsewhere - $40 including wine, beer and gratuity.
Ouch!
