We just had his parents bail on booking the rehearsal dinner... Long story. So now we need to find a book someplace for a friday night in January. We're getting married in at Westbury Manor and have people staying in hotels in Garden City so I'd like to keep it within 10-15 minutes of there. Any suggestions for a restaurant??? I grew up out in Suffolk and just recently moved to Nassau so I don't really know the area too well. Thank you!

seventh street cafe in garden city is nice..not sure if they have a private room. la famiglia in plainview. la piazza in merrick has a nice party/private room.

Millerage Inn is great for rehersal dinner :) my SIL had hers there and it was fabuloous!!

I was also going to suggest 7th Street Cafe. There's also Waterzooi, Baci, and BK Sweeneys in that same area.

seventh st cafe does have a private room. I went to a bridal shower once.
AIso, I remember reading on this site that Cozy Mels behind the Source mall does private parties at great prices.

Definitely check out Baci. They don't have a private room, but will seciton a part off for you. City Cellar; Cozymel's, Vincent's. Seventh Street Cafe, BK Sweeneys are others.

you can try piccolo bussola in mineola or umberto's in new hyde park. there is also uncle bacalla's in garden city park

ginos on jericho turnpike in nhp just re-opened, and they have a private room that is supposed to hold 35-40 ppl
