1 Co-worker did not have rehersal dinner (they were on a tight budget)

I feel it is your wedding not anyone else's. Do what you want to do! There is no law that says you have to have a rehearsal dinner!

Re: Rehearsal dinner
you absolutely positively do not have to have a rehearsal dinner, brunch, lunch, or afternoon snack! it's your wedding, do what you want and feel comfortable with!

Re: Rehearsal dinner
My house (parents house) is ten minutes from the church so we are going to do it there. We'll have it catered and i'll probably get a waitress.
If his parents wind up doing it we will do it somewhere. But otherwise i'm making it smiple.

Re: Rehearsal dinner
I's say that I probably don't want to be hosting a brunch the day of the wedding!
I'd order in some pasta, pizza, and salad and sodas for those in the wedding and do it at someone's house
