Re: Rehearsal Dinner & Brunch
Thursday night rehearsal for sure!
I know I wouldn't want to be partying the night before my wedding, and I'm in same situation.
Sunday brunch is ok, but depends how elaborate. Personally, we're not doing that, but I've actually found it to be a burden to guests, not a nice gesture.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner & Brunch
I think I'm having my rehearsal dinner the night before (friday)...because I have alot of out of towners coming...and i'd feel bad making them come two days early. LOVE the brunch idea....me and FH are going to do it if we can swing it after everything is paid off

Re: Rehearsal Dinner & Brunch
i didnt really want to party the night before either but i have out of town guests coming in so we have to do it on Friday. we're also doing brunch on Sunday - i know it's a pain sometimes, but the Bridal party and family will def come and if others can't wait it, it's understandable

Re: Rehearsal Dinner & Brunch
I have to do my RD on Friday because that is when the church wants to do the actual rehearsal. I really wanted Thurs. But it works out either way. My mother is doing a Sunday brunch thing for Sunday. Even though we have a big breakfast at the hotel. But fo rteh ones that arent staying atthis hotel my mom wantsto do it.
I am doing rehersal dinner on tuesday and brunch on Sunday but my wedding is a Friday night I work in a place that does parties and most of our rehersal dinners are tuesday wednesday and thursday nights.. I think having it the night before is going to be a lil too much but thats JMO. HTH

FHs family is from NJ and over half our bridal party is from out of town. I would never ask people to come in Thursday. They will probably have to take off some work Friday as it is. And the week before meanings coming out to LI twice, which would be worse. But if your bridal party is all local, thursday is better, or the week before.

Two members of the bridal party are out of town. FH's parents are from out of town. However, one of the BP members doesn't have any obligations, the other member can work from home. I'll have to find out what FH's parents are going to do. I really prefer to do it Thursday night but don't want to inconvenience anyone.
