Can anyone recommend any catering halls or larger restaurants with a private room that can hold about 60 people on a Thursday night?
We are looking to spend around 30-40$ per person.
Places I have in mind are Chateau Briand, Verdi's of Westbury, Garden City Hotel Posh Lounge or the restaurant there (but, that will def. be more) and I can't think of anything else...
Any suggestions would be greatly useful to me.
Thank you!

Thanks- my family and I always go there. That would have been nice but, I don't think they have a private room we were thinking about bringing an ethnic band there too so I don't think that would be possible there.

Has anyone heard of Stewart Manor Country Club- I just called and they seem reasonable. Has anyone heard of them?
How's the food? That's very important.

i was at Stewart Manor CC a few years ago and I didn't like their food. My cousin was there last year and she didn't like the food either....she said it went downhill from when she had her wedding there in 2004.

My sister goes there all the time and she says the food is great
The prices look great but doesn't look like any alcohol is included

Ehhh- I'm sure we can work something out or I can just supply the wine and pay a corking fee. I feel like it would be negotiable....
are you sure they have a private room? I hope so because that's one of the places I wanted to have my RH at originally but, I heard they don't have a private room.
It would be sweet, my little brother's name is Jonathan.

They do not actually have a private room- The areas are seperated by half walls so you can still hear the noise from the main dining area. There are a few tables in the bar area but not enough space to seat 60. I have been to a few showers there and they always do a really nice job. The food is really good.

Yea- I need a place with a private room. We may have some live music, we are bringing a singer from Europe over so we may as well have her at the RD to. My FMIL just brought up the point that we have like 60 people that would be with us so I'm in shock still because it's become a party for a party- ahhhhh!

They do have a private room in the back - we looked here for our engagement party. I don't think alcohol was included in the package, but the price still seemed good. Seventh Street Cafe was more $ . . .

I can totally recommend some: Novita (ask for Christi) Ciao Baby Waterzooi *** (I don't think they have a private room, but check, they may give you a section of the restaurant) Papa Razzi Umberto's Theres a new place that opened in Floral Park, its latin fusion, but I forgot the name but I heard they are really good. Filamena’s (spelling) on Hempstead Trpk, in Franklin square. New Hyde Park Inn Jericho and Floral Terrace Umi (its in Long Beach, and its Sushi/Japanese)
