FH & I were talking about potential places for our RD today and we were wondering what the proper etiquitte is for inviting people. Obviously the entire bridal party, readers and our ring bearers parents and our parents are invited but do we allow people to bring dates or do they come stag? With just the have to invites it's about 24 people. What's the equitte for invites then? Or at least what do most people typically do? If we allowed dates it could potentially add another 10 people.

We're not inviting anyone with a date..we have 19 people in our wedding party and with dates it's just too much.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquitte
we are inviting dates/SOs to ours. if we have it in FMIL's house we are just calling everyone. if we have it at a restaurant we are sending DIY invites.
we'll be inviting people one month in advance

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquitte
we allowed dates and my aunts and uncles we hot to come so I invited them too. I bought invites too but we ran out of time to send em so we ended up doing a Evite- kinda corny but it worked for the most part

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquitte
Anyone in our BP that had a serious relationship was invited with that person. That was it-no added dates, etc.

Ditto, I'm inviting everyone in a serious relationship with guests only. I'm also inviting my OOT guests because they're flying all the way here just to come to my wedding. :)

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquitte
We invited our entire wedding party, readers, musicians (most were family but one was a family friend) and grandparents. All with their significant others.
