Re: rehearsal dinner help!!
good question, i assumed they would come so they know when to get up to do their readings, not everyone is familiar with the order of things

Re: rehearsal dinner help!!
I've done readings at weddings before - and was invited, so I am inviting those doing readings at our ceremony to the RD.
I think it's just as much a part of the ceremony as any other role... and one that they'll feel better knowing what they're supposed to do ahead of time by being at the rehearsal!
I think it would be nice to invite them to the rehearsal and RD.

Re: rehearsal dinner help!!
i invited my reader and her family (they are close to us and they came from out of state). i know our reader is special to us and we definitely wanted her at our rehearsal and dinner (although she couldnt make it as they drove up from NC the day of the rehearsal). i think you should invite whoever you want there, i dont think there should be rules to follow when it comes to who to invite.

Re: rehearsal dinner help!!
I was a reader and had to go to the church so I was invited to the RD
I think anyone who participates in the ceremony should go to the RD. I have two cousins and all they did was get the gifts (wine and waffers) and bring them to the alter and they were invited.
