Rehearsal Dinner HELP... no Friday nights?
Well, I did all my research, started calling places I was interested in and I'm not having much luck at all! I'm trying to schedule my rehearsal dinner for a Friday night (wedding is on Saturday) and I'm striking out. Places either tell me that they don't do groups on Friday night (only for lunch) OR that they can only do something from 1-4 p.m. or after 8:00 p.m. Has/did anyone else run into this problem? All I'm looking for is a GOOD Italian restaurant in Suffolk County (preferably the Holbrook, Patchogue, Port Jeff areas). Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?[I've already tried a couple including Mamma Lombardi's and Pasta Pasta.]
THANK YOU in advance for ANY help you can give me ladies!!!

How about the Snapper Inn, my girlfriend had her rehearsal dinner there a few years ago on a Friday night.I'm having mine at the Irish Coffe Pub but it's located in East Islip (might be to far for you but they do Friday nights.)

I am having mine at the Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue. Check it out - the food is great and you can have a private room.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner HELP... no Friday nights?
there is a GREAT italian restaurant on Main Street in Holbrook called Mammas! (not Mama Lombardis) They have WONDERFUL food and its pretty also. I think that you would have a better chance getting the restaurant on a Thursday night but I would call them ans ask about a Friday night.the reason that I asked how many peoplel you were having is because this place isnt huge and wouldnt accomodate a VERY large group!!
Here is the address and phone #
Mama's
1057 Main St
Holbrook, NY 11741
631-981-6262
Good Luck!

Did you try LoMonaco's in Centereach? I have eaten there many times, my RD is actully going to be there. They have a private room in the back of the restaruant. I dont know if they do Friday nights (mine is on a Thursday). After 8pm may not be bad...if your Church rehersal is at 7 and 8pm time would be good.

I've got a good one!!! We had our RD on a Friday night in Smithtown. It was for 30 people and was absolutely delicius. It's called Venezia. It was only $15.00 pp. Let me know if you have any other questions. They did a great job! I believe they can accomodate 20 people. Here's the website...

There's a little Italian restaurant Anthony's that we go to sometimes in Ronkonkoma - it's neon outside and doesn't look ike much - but the food is AWESOME!!! They have a room that hols a little over 25 people upstairs. That might work for you.

Printer's Devil in Port Jeff Village will have a private party on a Friday night - They have a separate room and the food is very good. They would be worth checking out. Also, did you check Mario's on 25A in Setauket? They'd probably do it too.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner HELP... no Friday nights?
I really think we are having ours at Printer's Devil in Pt. Jeff. The food was really good and they do have the seperate room. It's a little more expensive on Friday nites, I believe $31 per person, but that includes tax and tip. NOT the bar tab. We are also going to check out The Olde Street Pub in Smithtown, but I am not sure on the Friday nite thing with them. The food is really good there too. I never even heard about Venezia before I am going to look into them now too.
