OK, I don't know any restaurants on Long Island, and I currently live far away (Indiana). The rehearsal will be at the Riviera (Massapequa), and people will be staying at the LI Hilton (Melville). Are there any good restaurants in that area at which to have a rehearsal dinner? My stipulations are: Average dinner is $30 or less per person (roughly) No Italian please. No Mexican please.
we had ours at majors steakhouse in east meadow.. about 15 mins or so away from massapequa... it was soooo affordable!!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Ideas?
We're getting married at St Rose and having our reception at the Riviera. After looking at a ton of places, we decided on Palmer's American Grille in Farmingdale.
We would have gone with Thom Thom in Wantagh, but needed the room to be wheel chair accessible.
Palmer's has two packages, I believe the first is $29.95 and the second is $34.95, plus whatever alcohol package you select. We chose house beer & wine for $10.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Ideas?
My sister had hers at Katy Daly's. they gave us the private room downstairs and did a buffet, so it was nice to be able to mingle and hang out, instead of a sit down dinner.
**** and dora's in Massapequa is closed...
