Looking for a place in the melville/huntington/farmnigdale area for a rehearsal dinner. Something that has a private room or seperate area for us. We aren't having that many people.

Blackstone Steakhouse on pinelawn right off of 110 in Melville.

I just booked mine at The Library Cafe on Main Street in Farmingdale. It has a cute atmosphere and great prices. We also ate dinner there to try the food and the food was really good. The room is elevated higher than the rest of the place and one wall is open so you overlook the rest of the restaurant. If you dont mind that one open wall, its a nice private space.

What about the Rosewood Inn? I have been there for a few things and thought it was very good. I know that a woman I work with had her daughter's shower there and really loved it. She thought it was reasonably priced and felt that there service was great. It's right on 110 in Melville.

I also booked the Library Cafe in Farmingdale. Do you think the 'open wall' will make it noisy for when people are trying to give speeches, etc? Can you hear a lot of the 'bar' when you are in the private room?

Was just there for FH bachelor dinner last night the food, atmosphere, and staff were awesome!! For anyone wondering why I went to a guy's party my moh had a family tradegy and wasnt up to going out so the guys didnt want to leave me home

We are having our rehearsal dinner at Palmer's in Farmingdale. The food is good and they have a separate room. I think it is just off of 110 on 109.

We're having it at 300 Long Island which is a swanky bowling alley...check it out! It's so fun!
