Anyone have any recommendations for restaurants for our rehearsal dinner in the Hauppauge area? We will have about 25 people and are looking for something some what reasonable since FH and I are paying. Thanks!

oh wait... in Smithtown across from the watermill is Carabas. FH and I love it there. check it out. we have our company dinner there for the holidays

No I am kidding!!!!! There are lots of store fronts and resturants on 25/347. I would take a ride over and see whats available. Congrats! You date is coming quick!

How about H20 in smithtown. www.h2oseafoodgrill.com They have a lot more than seafood too. We've gone there a few times and I hate seafood but the place and food are great.

The Garden Grill in Smithtown is very quaint, cozy and reasonably priced. Its right down Rt. 111 going north just past the Rt.111/Rt.25/North Country Road/25a intersection on North Country Road (about 10 min from Rt. 347 in Happaugue).

I was just going to suggest the Garden Grill. They used to be a client of mine. Also Butera's in Smithtown Village, And in Hauppauge- Pace's Steakhouse, Sweetwaters, and San Marco.

what about sweetwaters or Butterfields?
my friend had her shower at butterfields and they have a great menu--i'm sure they do RDs too.
both are there in hauppauge

what about Pomodorino in Motor Pkwy the food is great and they serve alot (usually FH and I order one appetizer and one entree and is more than enough) Also they have very good prices and separate rooms
