Hi ladies. My FH's parents have offered to pay for the rehearsal dinner and I need to start looking into places to have it. Our church is in Forest Hills. I would like it to be somewhere in Queens and affordable for them. If they had a private space for us even better. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Acquista Trattoria in Fresh Meadows Queens 10 mins away from Forest Hills. They have a private room and their food was great.

We did ours at Zenon Taverna in Astoria. The food and staff was great! They have a private party room and were pretty affordable.

Don Peppe in south ozone park. They do not have a private room however the food is amazing!

If you're looking for Italian, I second Bella Lena in Ridgewood! There's also Barosa in Middle Village, or as some else said, Dee's. Portofino is also in Forest Hills.
There's an AMAZING Greek restaurant on Metropolitan Ave. in Forest Hills called Nick's Bistro. It's one of my favorite restaurants, and the owners are the nicest people ever.
Lots of good options in Bayside, too, but not sure if you want to go that far from the church- Trattoria 35 and Veranda are both awesome, and have parking.
ETA: Bella Lena and Nick's are teeny and don't have private rooms, but I know Nick's will close down, and I'm sure Bella Lena would too!
