Any recommendations?? I need to start looking for a place for the friday night before the wedding!!

Well... Sweetwaters is out.. They just quoted me $65 a head w/out alcohol for a Friday night RD.

We wanted a relaxed and fun atmosphere bc the wedding is going to be formal. We chose Famous Dave's in Smithtown.

villa sorrentos is really nice.

la familia will only give you one side of the restaurant and its very loud in there. ive been to anna marias for my g-friends rehersal. the food was ok nothing to write home about.
Venezia is also another good place. i went to a shower at orlando 2 and thought the food was good and the prices are reasonable for what you get.

I loved Orlando's II, my shower was there. I also really like Oscar's in St. James.

I AGREE WITH BELLA VITA-- I LOVE IT!! The Garden Grill is nice but seems more Bridal Shower than rehearsal dinner to me. Another nice place is Oscar's in St. James. Good Luck but you are in a good position with Bella Vita!

UH OH I am only going to make you more confused... b/c my cousin had hers at Sweetwaters and it was very nice too. the food is good at both places but OUTSTANDING at bella vita... and it is so roomy plus--they are able to section off the restaurant where Sweetwaters did a little but I still felt like we were with the people just having dinner there and that was a Thursday-- it will probably be more crowded on a Friday.

OK - we are leaning towards either the Garden Grill or Bella Vita....

I am also going to call Casa Rustica to check them out as well...

THIS IS MORE NERVERACKING THAN PICKING OUT THE RECEPTION HALL!!!!!

Last year my future sister-in-law had her rehearsal dinner at Venezia in smithtown... it was AWESOME. It's right on Rt.25, it's a tall 2story building....definetly check it out.
