How about Bertuccis in Westbury. If you go to their website and look upthe Banquet menu there is a list of prices. FH and I are paying for our rehearsal dinner ourselves and we are going to do it there. We just something laid back and casual.
What about Carmela's on Franklin ave??

Cafe Picasso is small and intimate...they'll give you a private room....I had my sister's shower there and everyone loved the food!

carmela's, jonathans, penchenzo's in new hyde park, La parma in oceanside, Stella's in Floral park, if i think of any more i'll let you know.
DEFINITELY CHECK OUT PENCENZO IN NEW HYDE PARK. They have a phenomenal party room - so private! And their food is really really good and prices are great - you can alter their base menu!
You might also look into Luigi's on Union Tpke. in New Hyde Park. The food there is fantastic!
The Orchid in Garden city - I had my shower there and a lot of people use it for showers and rehearsal dinners - very reasonable and the best chinese food on the island - it is a great place to relax and fun for everyone
Lucky Duck on Nassau Blvd
The Lucky Duck is good. also the New Hyde PArk Inn on Jericho Tpke. Very reasonably priced.
Carmela's was actually priced higher than we were looking for. The Lucky Duck and Pencenzo were both reasonable.

I've lived in FSQ almost all my life, Carmellas is good but pricey, Lucky Duck is good and a good location, there is also The Pompei its a resturant and like two medium size rooms they are pretty good Pompei is in West Hempstead and I love Bertucci's in Westbury and I LOVE LOVE Vincents in Carle Place, thats where we would like to have ours but, they might be too expensive too, oh yea and the New Hyde Park Inn, somebody mentioned that before, that is a good place too!! Best of luck!

Lucky Duck on Nassau Blvd
Ours was at the Alpine Garden on Franklin Avenue. Its my Inlaws favorite restaurant. Unfortunately thats where we had to have it. It was really nice though. They have good food
