rehearsal dinner invites

Original post by Espo22

Ok i wasn't going to do this, but my FH said we should and a few others said so too.

Where did you girls get yours? and do you have pics? and how long did it take for you to get them and how much time before the RD are you sending?

Obviously dont need alot of them and not looking for anything extravagant.

thank you, ill check it out. FH said we'll just pick something out tonight. Guess narrow it down and then show him a few and pick what we like best and get it over with. Not going to make this a big process

I made ours and did an Italian / Pizza theme since that's where we're having the RD.

I'll send it to you...

I didn't do RD invites (we didn't have the locale ironed out until a couple of weeks before so it wasn't possible to get them out in time), but if I did, wedding paper divas has some cute ones. I would have gotten the chandelier one (the first one) in black. I it.

I think I may just make mine. I think I want my Rehearsal dinner at a bowling alley so it can be fun, and my stepdad works there, so it'll be less expensive. I think I may make the invites in the shape of a bowling pin or something fun.

lol, so were mine. I love them for party invites.

btw, keep the site bookmarked for when the time comes. They have a sister site, http://www.tinyprints.com/ that has the most adorable baby announcements. I'm doing baby announcements for my brother's new baby and I'm using Tiny Prints. They're so cute.

most of the sites are cheap too. Since we are having about 40-45 ppl, i only need 20-25 invites since most are couples. If i order from a site its about $20-30 and some $30-40 so not bad and saves me from making a trip anywhere

doesn't your fh or a friend have a printer you could use for a few invites?

no my fh broke his completely and didnt even get a new one. I can use someones printer though i guess, but i dont want to go over someones house just to use their printer hahaha. But i dont need alot bc we are having 40-45 guests and most are couples so we'll need about 20-25 invites and on the sites they're about $20-30 for that many

i'm not doing them (at most i'll do an email) but for my eparty i got gorgeous ones at papyrus. a secretary at work printed them for me. They even have the generic ones like someone else said - to save time and the headache I might go that route. Many you can use someone's work printer? I'm hoping to print menus at work; they are all laser printers.
