'Rehearsal' Dinner invites...is this too corny???

So, we're not rehearsing at our 'rehearsal' dinner, just hosting a day before dinner for our immediate families and closest friends - for the heck of it. Here's what I've come up w/ for the invite. I've taken some of it from a website (can't remember where at this point) and altered it to fit my situation. Here it is: We’d like to spend some time with you On the day before we say “I do”. We’ll sing and laugh and raise a toast To those we hold so dear. Come one, come all, let’s celebrate. Our wedding day is near! Hosted by: The Bride and Groom In Honor of: Our Wonderful Families and Dearest Friends Blah, blah, blah... OK. Too corny?? Be honest, ladies! The invites go out Tuesday! Hee Hee! Thanks! :)

'Rehearsal' Dinner invites...is this too corny???

I think it's perfect. In fact it's very close to what I did and everyone really enjoyed the invites. Here's what we said. It's the night before the wedding. All the planning is finally done. There's some time to spend with family and friends, Before the bride and groom become one.
